Master’s Swim

The Ole Miss Master’s Swim team is a coached swim program for advanced level swimmers looking for simply a great workout or to train for a specific event. Membership fees are $40 a semester for students, $60 for non-student members, and $100 for external users. Practices are held on Monday Wednesday and Fridays from 6-7am throughout the academic semester.

Interested in joining but not sure yet if it is the perfect fit for you? No problem! The team will be hosting free open practices following the Thanksgiving holiday and wants to invite you to come out and give it a try!

Open practices will be held on the following days/times:

Wednesday, November 29th 6-7am

Wednesday, November 29th 5-6pm

Thursday, November 30th 5-6pm

Friday, December 1st 6-7am

Meet our coach, Walker Burrow!

Walker is originally from Jackson, MS and is currently a senior studying geological engineering here at Ole Miss. He went to St. Joseph Catholic High School where he set several state records in the 100-yard Butterfly and 100-yard Backstroke events. He has coached a summer league team in Jackson, MS for 5 years, a semi-competitive swim team for beginner swimmers ages 5-12 at the Goose Creek Club, and is currently the head swim coach for Regent School of Oxford. Walker’s favorite event to swim is the 100-yard backstroke. Walker strives to push each swimmer to achieve the most out of their experience as a part of the Master’s Swim Team through individualized coaching and personal goal setting
