Daniel was born in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in many places growing up. The thing that stayed the most consistent throughout his travels was a love of adventure and the outdoors. Daniel fell in love with climbing and the outdoors all over again when he found a climbing gym and outdoor adventure program at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and has worked in the outdoor industry since. He completed his associate’s degree at community college before moving on to complete a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration at the University of Mississippi. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same program. Daniel loves climbing, paddling, biking, skating, and newly aerial silks!

Haakon was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Mandeville, LA; just outside of New Orleans. Throughout his teen years, he found himself meandering through the woods, just exploring. After high school he journeyed up to Ole Miss, where he recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. Haakon also spent quite a few summers as a canoe guide in northern Minnesota, developing skills while living and breathing the outdoors. Now he decided to follow his passion and continue learning and working in the outdoors, currently working towards a Master of Public Health. Outside of work, Haakon loves hiking, canoeing, climbing, and photography; all of which with good friends.
