Frequently Asked Questions:

How long are submissions valid?
Once a person has nominated an individual for this award, their submission will be valid for two consecutive months. If that nominee has not been selected for the monthly recognition award within these two cycles, that nomination will no longer be valid.

Can I resubmit a nomination after two months if that nomination was not selected for the award?
You may not submit a nomination for an individual who was not selected for the award if they were not chosen within the two months that they were nominated. In order for an individual to be nominated again, that student must have done something new within the realms of health and wellness to be eligible to be voted upon. Please see above criteria for those who can be nominated.

How often will these awards be given out?
Healthy Rebel awards will be given out once a month during the school year (September — April).

Is there a time frame from when a student completes their contribution to health and wellness to submit a nomination? (For example, “Student X completed a health challenge in the Oxford elementary schools a year ago. Can I nominate them for this award?)
The contribution to health and wellness cannot exceed one year. If a student has done something older than a year prior to their nomination, the nomination will be disqualified from being able to be voted upon.
