Group lessons meet on Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesday/Thursday. Below are descriptions of each of the different swim levels:

Adult Beginner
This class is programmed to assist students in gaining confidence in the water, learning water safety skills, and developing proper swimming techniques. The class meets for 45 minutes.

Red Fish
In this level, students begin learning strokes, breathing techniques, swimming comfortably on their back, and performing skills independently. They will work with instructors to perfect strokes and breathing. The students will progress to deep water and begin to perform streamline swimming. The class meets for 45 minutes.

White Fish
This level is designed for children who are new to swimming or would like to gain more confidence in the water. This class will help children become comfortable putting their faces in the water, floating, and blowing bubbles. Children will learn basic water safety skills with the support of the instructor and advance to swimming short distances. Students enrolled must be at least three years old. The class meets for 45 minutes.

Baby Fish
Baby Fish is the first level of swim lessons; guardians are required to be in the water with their children at all times. The purpose of this level is to introduce and promote the child’s comfort to the water. It is important for guardians to learn the skills necessary to help their child with basic water skills. Students enrolled must be at least six months old. The class meets for 30 minutes.
