Campus Recreation Membership Opportunities

Ole Miss Students:
A currently enrolled, full-fee-paying Ole Miss student (primary enrollee) may use the facility during scheduled recreational periods. The fee is included in tuition during enrolled academic periods.

  • Fit Passes, Climb Passes, and Play Passes available for purchase.

Student Summer Membership:
Students enrolled in a summer session will have access to Turner Center or South Campus Recreation Center during the enrolled session only. Students who are not enrolled in a summer session will be required to purchase a membership for Turner Center or South Campus Recreation Center access throughout the summer.

  • May Intersession & Summer I: $25
  • Summer II & August Intersession: $25
  • Full Summer: $50
  •  If spouse and/or dependent(s) are wish to also be enrolled, see the Student Spouse or Student Family membership options below
  • Non-enrolled students who do not wish to purchase a membership may self-sponsor as a guest for access ONLY during the summer. You must bring your UM ID card, pay the $5 guest fee, sign the guest waiver, and follow all guest policies.
  • Fit Passes, Climb Passes, and Play Passes available for purchase.

Student Spouse Membership:
A currently enrolled, full-fee-paying Ole Miss student (primary enrollee) may enroll his/her spouse

  • $30.00 for one semester
  • RebelWell Fit Pass and Climb Pass included in membership fee. Fit Pass available for purchase.

Student Family Membership:
A currently enrolled, full-fee-paying Ole Miss student (primary enrollee) may enroll his/her spouse and/or eligible dependent

  • $50.00 for one semester
  • Dependent(s) must be under 23 years of age, unmarried, and having permanent residence with the primary enrollee
  • RebelWell Fit Pass and Climb Pass included in membership fee. Fit Pass available for purchase.

Campus Recreation memberships do not include a parking permit. For information on parking, click here. Questions or concerns regarding parking must be brought directly to the attention of the Department of Parking and Transportation at 662-915-7235 or parking@olemiss.edu.

A student who is married to an Ole Miss Faculty/Staff member may purchase the Student Spouse membership.


Ole Miss Faculty/Staff

Individual Faculty/Staff Membership:
University employees holding an official University employee ID are eligible to obtain a Campus Recreation membership.

  • $300.00 for 12 months
    • May pay with payroll deduction ($20.00 for 15 consecutive pay checks)
  • Married Ole Miss Faculty/Staff may purchase the Family Faculty/Staff membership
  • Primary enrollee must present Ole Miss Faculty/Staff ID when purchasing membership
  • RebelWell Fit Pass and Climb Pass included in membership fee. Fit Pass available for purchase.

Family Faculty/Staff Membership:
University employees (primary enrollee) holding an official University employee ID are eligible to obtain a Campus Recreation membership and may enroll his/her spouse (secondary enrollee) and/or dependent(s).

  • $450.00 for 12 months
    • May pay with payroll deduction ($30.00 for 15 consecutive pay checks)
  • Employee may not take out a membership for family members only; employee must be included in the membership plan as the primary member
  • Dependent(s) must be under 23 years of age, unmarried, and having permanent residence with the primary enrollee
  • RebelWell Fit Pass and Climb Pass included in membership fee (members must be able to safely fit into a harness to climb). Fit Pass available for purchase.

Retired Faculty/Staff Membership:
Faculty and staff who retired from Ole Miss prior to January, 1997 are eligible to receive a complimentary membership. The membership is available to the retiree and his/her spouse.

Faculty and staff who retired from Ole Miss after January, 1997 are eligible to obtain a membership at the current Faculty/Staff membership rate (see above)

Membership type is dependent on the local status indicated on the Ole Miss ID card. Visiting Scholars with an “External Employee” ID card must notify Campus Recreation staff and provide documentation of Visiting Scholar status to receive the Visiting Scholar membership. Faculty/staff who take classes but are not enrolled at a certain time must purchase the faculty/staff membership during non-enrolled periods to continue access.

RebelWell Fit Pass
Campus Recreation has partnered with RebelWell to offer group fitness classes available only to current faculty and staff members of the University. Individuals without a Campus Recreation membership can purchase a semester RebelWell Fit Pass for a fee.  Faculty and staff members with a current Campus Recreation membership are able obtain a semester RebelWell Fit Pass for free. Ole Miss Alumni

Individual Alumni Membership:
Upon graduation from Ole Miss, the graduate may obtain an Individual Alumni membership for six months or one year. Members must show alumni card or diploma in order to purchase membership.

  • $240 for 6 months
  • $480 for 12 months
  • RebelWell Fit Pass and Climb Pass included in membership fee. Fit Pass available for purchase.

Family Alumni Membership:
Upon graduation from Ole Miss, the graduate may obtain a Family Alumni membership for six months or one year and may enroll his/her spouse (secondary enrollee) and/or dependent(s)

  • $360 for 6 months
  • $720 for 12 months
  • Dependent(s) must be under 23 years of age, unmarried, and having permanent residence with the primary enrollee
  • RebelWell Fit Pass and Climb Pass included in membership fee (members must be able to safely fit into a harness to climb). Fit Pass available for purchase.

Campus Recreation members have the option to purchase a parking permit at a rate of $10/month. There is a request for parking permit form at the South Campus Recreation Center Member Services Desk that is to be filled out with a Member Services Representative when purchasing the membership. Community

The membership is for either 12 months or 6 months and expires on the last day of the month (i.e. 12 month enrollment on August 2, 2014 has a membership expiration of August 31, 2015). Primary enrollee will be required to have a Campus Recreation ID made at the University ID Center. An individual must be at least 18 years of age to qualify as the primary enrollee.

  • $650.00 for 12 months
  • $325.00 for 6 months
  • RebelWell Fit Pass and Climb Pass included in membership fee. Fit Pass available for purchase.

Family Community Membership:
The membership is for either 12 months or 6 months and expires on the last day of the month (i.e. 12 month enrollment on August 2, 2014 has a membership expiration of August 31, 2015).   • $400.00 for 6 months

Individual Pool Only Membership:
The membership is for either 12 months or 6 months and expires on the last day of the month (i.e. 12 month enrollment on August 2, 2014 has a membership expiration of August 31, 2015). Primary enrollee will be required to have a Campus Recreation Pool Only ID  made at the University ID Center. An individual must be at least 18 years of age to qualify as the primary enrollee.

  • Pool Only members will have access to the pool at any time that the pool is open
    • Access will be denied if member is found utilizing the facility other than the pool
  • $180.00 for 6 months
  • $360.00 for 12 months

Family Pool Only Membership:

Family Membership Information

  • Dependent(s) must be under 23 years of age, unmarried, and having permanent residence with the primary enrollee
  • Dependents ages 6 and up must have a Campus Recreation ID card
  • Dependents (of all ages, including under 6) must be a part of a family membership (or purchase a guest pass) to participate in recreational activities
    • i.e. A 5 year old does not need an ID card printed, however the parents/guardians would need to purchase a family membership if the 5 year old was participating in recreational activities

Membership Cancellation Policy

Campus Recreation requires submission of a completed Membership Cancellation Form in order for a membership to be cancelled and for a refund to be requested. To cancel your membership, please email memberservices@olemiss.edu. The membership will be considered cancelled on the last day of the month of the submission the cancellation form. Note: lockers are non-refundable.

The refund method is based on original form of payment:

Payroll Deduction:

  • If full membership amount has been deducted: refund will be processed for time not used
  • If full membership amount has not yet been deducted: will stop deduction
  • Allow seven days for processing

Cash or Check:

  • Will be refunded by check, sent to address indicated on the Membership Cancellation Form
  • Allow up to 8 weeks to receive check in the mail

Credit Card:

  • Will be refunded by request for pay and a check will be sent to address indicated on the Membership Cancellation Form
